TRIP REPORT: Avengers: Infinity War at the El Capitan Theatre

All photos on this page are © Loren R. Javier. Do not duplicate, modify or distribute without prior consent.

On May 5, I went to the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood to see Avengers: Infinity War. The El Capitan is Disney's flagship theater and its always a treat to see Disney movies there because they always have some kind of special thing going on.

In this case, the El Capitan had costumes and props from Avengers: Infinity War on Display.

On the main floor, they had the Infinity Gauntlet!

Downstairs, they had several of the costumes and a photo montage.

Bucky/Winter Soldier/White Wolf

Captain America

Falcon

Nebula

Gamora

Rocket

Star Lord

Mantis

Drax

Loki

Thor

Bruce Banner

There was also an Iron Man helmet there.

In the theater itself, they also had some costumes. To the left, in one of the balconies, we see Scarlet Witch and Doctor Strange.

On the other side of the theater in the other balcony, we have Black Panther, Okoye and Black Widow.

On the stage is a great Avengers display.

One of the special treats watching a movie at the El Capitan is getting to hear music on the Mighty Wurlitzer by Mr. Rob Richards, the House Organist. Here is Mr. Richards playing the Star Wars theme before the movie begins.

It's always great to watch a movie with an audience as excited as you are and I always find the audiences at the El Capitan to be great. People laughed with me, cheered with me and cried with me. If you ever get a chance to watch a movie at this theater, I highly recommend it!
