5 Underrated Disneyland Resort Attractions

There are so many wonderful attractions at the Disneyland Resort, but some of them are sadly overlooked. We are going to take a look at five of them. Hopefully, if you haven't been on any of these, we will have persuaded you to visit them. What are your favorite underrated attractions?

Snow White’s Scary Adventure

Disneyland

Snow White's Scary Adventure is a great attraction. Despite it being a Snow White attraction, the ride is actually terrifying. Hence its name - Scary Adventure. It was actually developed to be like a tunnel of love where people would get closer to each other for protection. If you want a scary attraction, don't go to the Haunted Mansion. Ride this one. You won't regret it.

Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue

Disney California Adventure

Sadly, this attraction is tucked away in a corner of the park that people don't often visit. People don't realize its there. It's a shame because this is actually one of the best dark rides in either park. There are lots of details throughout if you get to catch them through one of the ride throughs. If you get a chance to talk to Roz at the end, it's the best.

Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree

Disney California Adventure

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, at first, looks like a quiet and unassuming ride meant for kids. But, if you go on this attraction, you'll find out that it's more thrilling than it actually looks. The baby tractors whip you around like crazy and it's super fun. So, be sure to give this attraction a chance.

Tarzan’s Treehouse

Disneyland

Sometimes, you can overlook Tarzan's Treehouse because there is no grand entrance for it. It's a stairway up a tree. But, as you explore, you get treated to the story of Tarzan. Kids love this area as it allows them to crawl and climb and play. For adults, it gives you some of the best views of the park and some great photo locations. At the bottom, be sure to keep an eye out for a hidden Mrs. Potts and Chip!

Jessie’s Critter Carousel

Disney California Adventure

People often think of carousels as kiddie rides. And, it's true that they are not complex rides that just go round and round. But, Jessie's Critter Carousel adds some elements of fun with her critters instead of horses and some fun backgrounds as you make your way around. The song that plays as you ride is high energy and a lot of fun. I simply adore this attraction.
