5 Things I'm Looking Forward To Once Disneyland Re-Opens

I was inspired to write this after Guy Selga posted his wish list on Touring Plans. I haven't been to Disneyland since the end of January, so it feels like an eternity since I've been there. And, it may be months before we see our beloved Disneyland open again. I am dying to get back. These are the 5 things I'm most looking forward to once Disneyland opens from least priority to most!

Eat!
One of my favorite things to do at Disneyland is eat. There are so many great foods and there are always themed specials going on. Then, there are the festivals! Due to the Coronavirus, I was unable to experience Food and Wine, so I'm hoping we'll be able to eat our way through Festival of the Holidays!

Ride Rise of the Resistance Once More
I have only been able to experience this incredible attraction once. The one time I did go on it totally blew my mind. The combination of filmed screen and advanced audio-animatronics are amazing. So, I definitely can't wait to go on it again once Disneyland re-opens.

Meet Ian and Barley in Pixar Pier
I did not get to meet Ian and Barley Lightfoot before the parks closed and I regret not having made an effort to go to Pixar Nite! Onward has quickly become one of my favorite Pixar movies and I would love to see the two elf brothers themselves in person.

Watch the Magic Happens Parade finally
Another thing that I did not get to experience before the parks closed was the Magic Happens parade. I have seen several videos and countless pictures of it and I am just breathlessly waiting to watch it. I love the Moana and Coco units and can't wait to see them with my own eyes.

See Mickey Mouse again
The most important thing for me is seeing Mickey Mouse again. True story, the first time I saw Mickey Mouse when I was a kid, I was feeling sick. But, as soon as I saw Mickey, I felt much better. Mickey just makes you feel better no matter what and I must see him every time I go to Disneyland. I miss you, my friend.
