"Why is Gamora?"
Avengers: Infinity War
Drax is always a great source of humor and none more than this scene. In it, two bands of heroes face off. Peter Quill, holding a gun to Peter Parker's head, asks, "Where is Gamora?!?" Tony Stark, holding a blaster to Drax's head, asks back, "I'll do you one better. Who is Gamora?" Drax then says, "I'll do you one better. Why is Gamora?"
Loki getting smashed by the Hulk
Marvel’s The Avengers
This is truly one of the funniest scenes in Marvel Cinematic Universe history. In this scene, Hulk and Loki face off. Loki exclaims, "I am a god, you dull creature! And I will not be..." Before he is able to finish this sentence, Hulk unexpectedly grabs Loki by the legs and starts slamming him around the ground. Whereas this would be a brutal moment if Loki were human, knowing he is a god, we knew he'd survive. Hulk then says, walking off, "Puny god..."
“He’s a friend from work!”
Thor: Ragnarok
In a rather dramatic moment, Thor eagerly awaits to see he will be fighting against. When Hulk goes rampaging through the gate, Thor starts to grin. He is so happy and tells the Grandmaster, "We know each other! He's a friend from work!" The line was actually suggested by a Make-A-Wish child who was visiting on set. They decided to use it and it is one of the funniest scenes in MCU history.
Loki imitating Captain America
Thor: The Dark World
As Thor and Loki begin their escape from the marauding Dark Elves on Asgard, Loki begins to tease Thor by transforming the two of them into different people. At one point, he transforms into Captain America. In a fantastic performance by Chris Evans, he says, "Oh, this is much better. Costume's a bit much... so tight. But the confidence, I can feel the righteousness surging. Hey, you wanna have a rousing discussion about truth, honor, patriotism? God bless America..."
America’s Ass
Avengers: Endgame
In this scene, Captain America, Iron Man and Ant-Man go back to where the Tesseract is being handed over to S.H.I.E.L.D. at the end of the Battle of New York. Tony pokes fun at Cap by saying, "Mr. Rogers, I almost forgot that that suit did nothing for your ass." Cap retorts, "No one asked you to look, Tony." Ant-Man quickly defends, "I think you look great, Cap. As far as I’m concerned, that’s America’s ass." Later, there is a call back to this joke after Captain America defeats himself. Standing over his unconscious other self, he says, "That's America's ass..."
“This drink! I like it! Another!”
Thor
In this scene, Thor is having breakfast with Jane, Darcy and Erik in a local cafe. He takes a sip of his coffee and exclaims, "This drink! I like it!" He then proceeds to break the mug on the ground and commands, "Another!"
Scott as toddler size
Ant-Man and the Wasp
In this scene, Scott and Hope must retrieve his old suit which was taped to the bottom of his trophy that his daughter Cassie took to school. At one point, the new Ant-Man suit malfunctions and turns him into the height of a toddler. In order to get out of school, Scott must dress in a student's clothing to get out. His movements as a child are quite hilarious. He then asks for a juice box at the end like a child.
“What Master do you serve?”
Avengers: Infinity War
This scene is another scene from where the two bands of heroes confront each other. Doctor Strange asks, "Ok, let me ask you this one time: What master do you serve?" Peter Quill responds very confused, "Oh, what master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?"
“Nothing goes over my head”
Guardians of the Galaxy
In this scene, the Guardians are trying to escape the prison. Peter Quill calls Drax a walking thesaurus. Drax tells him not to call him a thesaurus. Rocket tells Peter, "His people are completely literal. Metaphors are gonna go over his head." Drax replies, "Nothing goes over my head. My reflexes are too fast. I would catch it." Gamora exasperatedly says, "I'm gonna die surrounded by the biggest idiots in the galaxy."
Luis telling them about the tip
