Trip Report: Tokyo DisneySea - Characters in the American Waterfront (April 2, 2014)

The American Waterfront is, perhaps, my favorite Port of Call at Tokyo DisneySea.  It is divided into two different sections.  The largest section is the New York Harbor which takes you back to New York at the early part of the century.

Many characters usually come out in the New York Harbor, usually dressed in some kind of New York themed outfit.  While we stopped by there a few times during the course of the day, we were only able to see Uncle Scrooge, who owns McDuck's Department Store in the heart of the New York Harbor Commercial District...

...and we saw Daisy Duck dressed in her New York outfit.  She's so adorable!

The other section of the American Waterfront is Cape Cod.  Unlike New York Harbor's hustle and bustle, Cape Cod is a much more calm and quaint New England harbor town.

The big news in Cape Cod is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's historic debut.  I've blogged about in his own entry.  So, if you haven't already, you can check out photos of him there.  Also meeting there was Miss Bunny and Thumper, although I only managed to get photos of Miss Bunny. But, she was so cute with her pink flower on her ear.

But, Cape Cod, for the most part, is devoted to Duffy the Disney Bear and his gal pal Shellie May. They have their own greeting dock there which is nicely themed!

When we went, Duffy was meeting there which was nice because, when I was there last year, I met Shellie May here.  Duffy was wearing his new Spring outfit! So adorable!
