Trip Report: Tokyo Disneyland - Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights (April 4, 2014)

After our sushi dinner, we went back into Tokyo Disneyland to see if we could catch Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade: DreamLights.  Given the windy weather conditions, we weren't sure if they were going to cancel the parade or not.  Unfortunately, by the time we got there, the parade had already started and getting a good spot was tough as Central Plaza was crowded with people.  We tried to make our way down toward Toontown, but, we got as far as the Tomorrowland Terrace when we realized we might end up missing the parade entirely if we went any further.  So, as you'll notice, many of my photos are blocked by trees and other obstacles.  Still, it was a treat to watch.

The parade starts off similarly to the Main Street Electrical Parade, along with the familiar train and Baroque Hoedown...

One of the cooler floats to Tokyo's version is the genie float which turns into different characters as seen here...

The parade then veers from the more familiar refrains of the Baroque Hoedown and adds some Pixar elements...

It then returns to classic form with the huge Cinderella float and a float dedicated to the Disney Fairies...

And, then, the finale is floats that pay tribute to "it's a small world..."
