Could Edgar Wright be telling us something about Ant-Man?

On Sunday, Edgar Wright, the director of the upcoming Ant-Man from Marvel Studios, teased the following image on Flickr with the only description being "Homework."

The big question has been which Ant-Man will the title character be.  For those unfamiliar with the character, Ant-Man was originally a scientist by the name of Hank Pym who invented a type of particle that would allow him to grow and shrink.  He, along with his then wife Janet Van Dyne (aka the Wasp), would become founding members of the Avengers.

Later, a thief by the name of Scott Lang stole the Ant-Man suit to save his daughter's life.  And, in doing so, he reformed from his life of crime and took up the mantle of Ant-Man.  He was later killed by the Scarlett Witch (who people might know will be introduced into the Cinematic Universe in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron) when she went mad.

Finally, there was a third Ant-Man by the name of Eric O'Grady who was an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. before finding the Ant-Man suit.  O'Grady, though, unlike Pym and Lang, was less altruistic and uses the suit to his advantage.

Now, I think the general consensus is that the choice will either be Hank Pym or Scott Lang.  Newsarama notes that this image is from a specific episode of the animated series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes:

"The image is from Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes season 2 episode 5, "To Steal an Ant-Man." The episode features Henry Pym, of course, but also introduces the second Ant-Man, Scott Lang, who steals the suit and decides to use it for his own gain."

At the same time, SuperHeroHype notes the following:

"Wright told SuperHeroHype many years ago that 'The idea that we have for the adaptation is to actually involve both... Henry Pym and Scott Lang,' and with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige previously calling Wright's Ant-Man movie a 'heist film,' it seems likely that we might be seeing something similar on the big screen in 2015."
So, is it possible that Ant-Man will be Scott Lang who steals the suit from Hank Pym?  But, this still leaves in question who Paul Rudd, the star of Ant-Man, will play.  I can actually see him as either character.  Although, I kind of am hoping that the story will revolve around Hank Pym so that they can more easily introduce the Wasp in the future who I think is one of the noticeable absence from the Avengers.

Whatever the case might be, this image makes me excited!  And, now I gotta follow Edgar Wright on Flickr!
