May 7, 2013 - One Man's Dream II – The Magic Lives On

Remember how I said we inexplicably ran from Space Mountain in Tomorrowland to the Orleans Theater in Adventureland?  Well, after "Minnie Oh! Minnie!," we headed BACK to Tomorrowland to eat lunch at the Tomorrowland Terrace.  Who planned this morning out?  LOL!

After lunch, we went to see "One Man's Dream II – The Magic Lives On," which, thankfully, was in Tomorrowland...although, I was fully prepared that they were going to have us run to Westernland.  LOL!

Now, this is an amazing show!  Unlike some of the other shows that I didn't think they'd ever do in the United States, this show had the type of narrative that I COULD see.  It's kind of like this resort's version of Hong Kong's "The Golden Mickeys."  When I say this, I mean, it's a different kind of show, but has the same kind of reverence for the Disney films that "The Golden Mickeys" has.

When the show begins, they have an amazing effect where Mickey and Minnie are black and white...

...little by little, color is introduced into the world...

...until, suddenly, the show explodes with color...

...and more Disney characters join them on stage!

Then, the show is ready to start...first up a musical number with two of Disney's favorite gorillas Terk and King Louie...

...then came a musical number with several characters from A Bug's Land, including not only Flik, but Manny, Gypsy, Tuck 'n' Roll, Slim and Heimlich!

We then had a return to a classic - Peter Pan!

Then, there was a tribute to both Villains...

...and Princesses!

And, then there was this fabulous scene with several of our favorite friends filming a movie...

...which leads into a gala movie premiere!

And, then, a glittery grand finale!

Like "Festival of the Lion King" and "The Golden Mickeys" in Hong Kong, this has to be one of my favorite shows at any Disney Park.  The amount of characters, the level of energy and wonderful music make this a show that makes you feel like a little kid and keeps you wanting more!
