May 17, 2013 - Legends of the Force Motorcade

Once we got to Hollywood Boulevard to watch the Legends of the Force Motorcade, we unfortunately noticed that all the places in the shade had been taken.  So, we ended up with a space in the sun waiting for what felt like an eternity in the heat.  Even still, it was still cooler than when we were in California.  Weird.

But, soon, the announcement sounded over the loud speaker!  The Legends of the Force Motorcade was about to begin!

First coming down the street was Mickey as Luke Skywalker riding an X-Wing!

He was followed by Minnie as Princess Leia Organa, Chip 'n' Dale as Ewoks, Goofy as Darth Vader and Donald as a Stormtrooper!

Next came a troop of new Padawans, Younglings recently trained at the Jedi Training Academy...

They were then followed by the 501st Legion...

And, finally, the Star Wars characters were ready to join us...

The first celebrity to arrive was Ray Park who played Darth Maul...

And then he was followed by Jeremy Bulloch who played the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett (and who I had a crush on for years!)

The following Boba Fett was a small party of Tusken Raiders...

The next celebrity to arrive was Dee Bradley Baker, the voice of many a Clone Trooper from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Ahsoka Tano led the way for the woman who provides her voice Ashley Eckstein.  Ashley also owns a Star Wars fan girl fashion line called "Her Universe."  She is also co-host for Star Wars Weekends.

And, after Ashley came a bunch of our favorite bounty hunters...

Then, the final celebrity was the other co-host and voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Plo Kloon in Star Wars: The Clone Wars - James Arnold Taylor!

At the end of the Motorcade was the most famous Sith Lord himself - Darth Vader - accompanied by Stormtroopers!

After the Legends of the Force Motorcade, everybody joined our favorite intergalactic characters and the celebrities for a brief greeting from the main stage...

Oh, what a fun parade!  It was totally worth the wait basting in the sun!  And, what's better is that we got to watch it again the next day.  So, look out for more photos taken from a different angle and from my telephoto lens!
