May 15, 2013 - The Legend Of Captain Jack Sparrow

After a little shopping and walking around, we decided to go see "The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow" since the line was relatively short (20 minutes) and we wanted to see what they did to replace the "Journey Into Narnia: Prince Caspian" attraction that had been there way beyond its welcome.

Like the previous attraction, "The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow" is a show told through video projected on various scenery.  But, before we go into the actual show, we are recruited by the talking skull from "The Pirates of the Caribbean" to be part of Captain Jack's crew.

We then head into the main room where the show happens.  We're attacked by skeletons, the Flying Dutchman and mermaids!  And, then, Captian Jack comes out at the end to welcome us to his crew.  Unfortunately, the autofocus on my 18-55 mm lens really started to crap out at this point, so my photos are slightly blurry.

The show is okay.  It's better than the Prince Caspian show.  But, I don't know if I'd really want to stand in line to watch it again.  If there were no line and it was a way to get out of the heat, I'd do it.  But, honestly, it's not worth the wait for me.  There is already another more superior attraction involving the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and that's the one I have access to at Disneyland all the time.

  1. Come on, you know you LOVED it! :P

  2. If LOVED it means "I'll totally go watch it to get out of the heat if there is no line," then, YES...I loved it. :p
