May 14, 2013 - Walking Around The World Showcase...

After the Opening Ceremony, we actually had a free day.  Still so many people were still experiencing a certain level of exhaustion, some people went back to the hotel to get some rest.  Some of us, though, decided to stay at Epcot and wait out the day to sleep in fear of throwing off our sleep schedules off even more.

Since we started at the American Adventure Pavilion, we walked around one side of the World Showcase to Future World on the other side of the World Showcase Lagoon...

Sadly, we didn't really get to spend much time in any of the Pavilions.  So, just for the sake of simplicity for the blog, while we went one way during the first part of our visit and the other way on the way back, I'm just going to go ahead and talk about it as if we went all the way around at one time.

First we passed the Japan Pavilion...

Later in the day, we did see the Matsuriza Taiko drummers...

...and then we passed the Morocco Pavilion.  This is one of my favorites.  The King of Morocco actually had Moroccan architects and artisans design this Pavilion.

Later in the day, we did walk into the "Moroccan Style: The Art of Personal Adornment" exhibit which was a nice respite from the day's sun as well as an wonderful educational opportunity to learn more about another culture...

...We then passed the French Pavilion...

...the United Kingdom Pavilion...

We looked inside the cute Winnie the Pooh meet-and-greet area at the United Kingdom Pavilion...but, nobody was home...

...and then we passed the Canada Pavilion.

On the way back from Future World, we passed the Mexico Pavilion...

...and then the Norway Pavilion...

...the China Pavilion...

...the Germany Pavilion...

...and, finally, the Italy Pavilion...
